The Narcotic Farm

title
The Narcotic Farm brought together patients and doctors from all over the country. A large number of Lexington's patients were troubled teens from big cities, while the doctors – many of them also quite young - came from a variety of backgrounds, but rarely ones like those they were treating. Not surprisingly, the two groups had a very different experience of Lexington. "Narco" was a veritable fraternity for dope fiends, while for doctors it was a sterling training ground that set staff on course to become leaders in addiction treatment and science. Now for the first time former patients and staff tell the story of The Narcotic Farm from the inside.
